In December 2022, we teamed up with Ignite training to become Irelands first Valeting and Detailing training provider to offer fully accredited, insured and underwritten courses. Our courses are the first of their kind in Ireland, and are designed to provide an industry standard for the first time in this country. 

Level 1 in Automotive Valeting/Detailing

Our Level 1 course provides the learner with comprehensive skills to complete a full exterior valet. Skills included are:
  • Pre-valet inspection
  • Safe wheel cleaning
  • Pre-wash and wash
  • Safe drying
  • Tar spot removal
  • Paint decontamination (chemical decon and Claybar)
  • Hand polishing/glazing
  • Paint Protection
  • Glass cleaning
  • Tyre and trim dressing
Learners will be required to pass both a written and practical assessment in order to receive their Level 1 Certificate.

Level 2 in Automotive Valeting/Detailing

Our Level 2 course provides the learner with comprehensive skills to complete a full interior valet. Skills included are: 
  • Cleaning roof-lining
  • Vacuuming safely
  • Cleaning dash and trim
  • Cleaning infotainment screens
  • Cleaning upholstery and carpets
  • Cleaning leather
  • Dealing with personal belongings
  • Cleaning seat belts
  • Cleaning mats 
  • Cleaning vents and hard to reach areas
  • Odor removal
Learners will be required to pass both a written and practical assessment in order to receive their Level 2 Certificate

Level 3 in Automotive Valeting/Detailing

Our Level 3 course is only open to learners who have completed Level 1 and have a good knowledge of paint preparation. In Level 3, our learners will learn the following skills;
  • Identifying paint defects and how to deal with each type 
  • Measuring Paint Depths
  • Polishing Pads Intro
  • Compounds and Polishes Intro
  • Machine Polisher Intro 
  • Using a DA Polisher
  • Using a Forced Rotation Polisher
  • Using a Rotary Polisher
  • Using a mini polisher
  • Ceramic Coating Intro

Learners will be required to pass both a written and practical assessment in order to receive their Level 3 Certificate
